Dog lovers in Charlotte, NC will have an opportunity to meet and greet their favorite dog breeds and pet and play with some they’ve never seen before at the annual Piedmont Kennel Club (PKC) Meet the Breeds event, scheduled for this Saturday, November 23rd from noon to 4:00 pm at the PKC facilities at 13607 Choate Circle in Charlotte.

The breeds scheduled to attend include the: Akita, American Hairless Terrier, Australian Shepherd, Beagle, Belgian Laekenois, Bichon Frise, Bloodhound, Boston Terrier, Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Chinese Crested, Collie, Dalmatian, Doberman Pinscher, Flat Coated Retriever, French Bulldog, German Shorthaired Pointer, Great Pyrenees, Havanese, Labrador Retriever, Leonberger, Mastiff, Miniature American Shepherd, Miniature Schnauzer, Norwegian Elkhound,
Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Pug, Pumi, Rottweiler, Shetland Sheepdog, Siberian Husky, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Spinone Italiano, Weimaraner, Whippet and Xoloitzcuintli.
Piedmont Kennel Club is also supporting the NBC-Charlotte Salvation Army Magical Toy Drive. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to brighten the holidays of others!
In addition to the opportunity to meet all kinds of dogs, the event also offers entertaining demonstrations of Pet Tricks, Basic Training, Conformation, Canine Good Citizen, Rally and Obedience, as well as a microchip clinic hosted by Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control. Microchips will be $10!
