Members from the South Windsor Kennel Club, Springfield Kennel Club and Windham County Kennel Club brought their dogs to meet the public at The Big E this past weekend in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Thanks also to lots of other local clubs who brought their dogs out to attend.

The Big E, also known as The Eastern States Exposition, is the sixth largest fair in the nation and welcomes more than 100,000 people each year .

Check out the photo slideshow to see some of the breeds club members brought to meet the public. They were there until 10:00 pm each day talking to visitors about finding the right dog for them and how to identify a responsible breeder.

Club member Peggy Wampold said, “I love the expressions on the owners’ faces.  They really were having a good time telling the crowd about their dogs.  The crowd this year was even bigger this year than last year…they love to see and pet the dogs!”
