Federal Judge Rules Animal Rights Plaintiff to Pay Circus’ Attorney Fees

It is interesting to see that animal rights organizations can’t just go around and file frivolous lawsuits against other organizations. A federal judge has ruled that animal rights groups that sued the producer of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus will have to pay attorney fees.  AKC has been involved in lawsuits upholding the rights of animal owners in the past, so we thought you might find these posts interesting. Tell us what you think.

  1. It’s about time these greedy groups were exposed! This decision seems nothing less than earth shattering to me, yet it has only appeared in relatively obscure media, and always in the editorial section, rather than hard news. This really is breaking news, and should be covered as such – but it’s been pretty quiet. I think how I would feel upon finding that my heartfelt donation meant to help animals will instead be spent on legal fees to defend what is essentially criminal behavior. I found a report on this in the American Bar Association Journal web page, where the discussion in the comments section is quite interesting.
